The Talmud states  “The quality of mercy is characteristic of the Jewish people. They are like brothers… and if a brother shows no mercy towards a brother, who will?”

Each and every Trustee of the Rambam Charitable Trust embodies and exemplifes this creed and proudly takes on the responsibility to help members of our community to alleviate their fnancial problems.

With the assistance and commitment of the trustees, patrons and donors we are able to ensure that our ‘family and friends’ receive fnancial support in a dignifed manner.

With sensitivity, kindness and the highest level of professionalism it dispenses much needed free  loans to a wide range of people.

All those involved with the Rambam Trust are to be commended because they give expression to the ancient Divinely mandated principles of our Torah, one of which is the sanctity and importance of human dignity, in particular the dignity of self reliance.

The Trust does so in the spirit of the Rambam whose name it carries with distinction and who taught, based on the Talmud, that the highest level of Tzedokkah is to help a person remain or become financially independent.

The trust is administered by trustees comprising of dedicated business people and professionals, each assigned with their specific responsibilities. All personal and private information which may be disclosed by applicants are kept with the utmost confidentiality. The costs of running the trust are almost entirely covered by monthly contributions made by each trustee.
